It's finally time to (poorly) explain season five of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series; Duel Monsters. After editing down the entire season, I only want one thing for the 25 year anniversary. Reanimate this season.

A lot of this arc deserved to be animated better. Maybe a dedicated and talented fan(s) will pull it off or something one day in Takahashi's name. At the very least, it is a nice thought

Compare the season’s animation to the opening animation. There’s a night and day difference. One of the studios that was supposed to work on this season had to leave the project. Watch the leviathan battle from season 4 versus the Zorc battle in this season.
