The track is called Duel of the Fates because its the duel what decides Anakin fate, Lucas has even confirmed that Anakin wouldn't have turned if Qui-Gon had lived. Obi-Wan while a great Jedi wasn't ideal for Anakin as a master as he's too much like a brother and best friend when what Anakin needed was a father.

Episode One was just pointless, but two is the one that was actively terrible.

The music of the prequels was very good. The only bad thing about them was George Lucas' scripting, Jar-Jar Binks, and too much CGI. (Although, CGI Yoda was very good.)
