A duelist setup that I've had sucess with is warlock, arsonist, wanderer duelist, scourge. Notice how each character besides duelist has some form of healing. Also flag can use most of his skills in rank 1 or 2 and runaway can use her burn skills very easily in rank 2 and 3. If you disengage with duelist, you allow runaway to burn down enemy ranks 1 and 2. Flag and occultist can carpet bomb ranks 3 and 4 as well. This party excels at dps and healing. Their only hang up is stress. The flag can only do so much stress healing, so if not careful, you may see a breakdown or two, but if you play your cards right, you should be able to completely stress heal at the inn as well as find some good stress healing combat items at the inn or oasis. I was able to grand slam with this team, so I am confident in their abilities. I am a coward, so I run wanderer duelist, but if you think you could build her better, you probably could. I believe wanderer is her safest path however.

As a Duelist enjoyer, I am a big fan of using Fleche, Disengage, & Meditation + any 2 other skills with Antagonist path. And dodge+ is a lie. It always is.

Preparation into Meditation. It's the only way I've found to get the Duelist going. It builds Dodge and Riposte. Once you've got those two things ramped up, she's a beast. Feint will keep the riposte up. Honestly, I just have other people throw taunt tokens on her after round 2 and just watch the fun.

I haven't played in a while, but I rather liked here in a Forward party. I don't mean the one with Andrew Yang, but one with a Bulwark, a Banneret and a Nightsworn, where everybody mostly just charges forward with hard-hitting moves on their turn. Flèche does deal pretty nice damage. That said, I think she was the most replaceable character on that team.

my favorite setup for duelist is instructor backline with a hellion on killers glow with scourge flagellant instead of actually dealing with killer's glow and it's problems, we hard lean into stressing and make hellion one shot evreything and also a team comp of ritualist occultist - soloist jester - intrepede duelist - banneret crusader little healing but good stress healing and ONE SHOT EVREYTHING bigest weakness is blinds, dodge, and bad turn order can fuck the team up but constant dodge generation and high one shot damage is amazing

Since apparently I am journaling my own DD2 adventures in these comment sections. I finally beat the 3rd boss for the first time, I only needed to fight 4 wandering bosses on the way (I fought the Collector twice) and those absolutely busted trinkets they drop.
