Honestly it makes sense why it's becoming good now. Most of the tier 1 and 2 decks are all fire, so getting a dark carpet statue is pretty smart

It depends for me on when I Maxx C. If all I have is C then I'll do it in the draw phase, but if I have something else like ash that would be used in the main anyway, then I might as well just save it to try to play around a finger.

Same. Also, if I have combo plus maxx “C” I dp activate it. If I have Veiler I could prolly wait since Veiler also turns on TTT so why not chain the C to a ss to draw a card.

With the when u should Maxx c I like to follow the rule of, if my hand is playable and I have enough engine, Maxx c in draw/standby. If not, I'll wait until they use something that special summons, and ideally after they have a body on the board to play around gamma.

I believe maxx c before or after is 60/40% matters because a much as its annoying your maxx c is pointless when your board is weak and forcing your opponent to take the challenge and win he won't allow u to have a. Turn without doing nothing if he is able to kill u... either way it only matters if your going second and you have strong hand being gamma or not isn't really an issue if you really draw the out in competitive ygo always about the out and going first and draw hands
