When I see them wearing the charro outfit I get offended. Every Mexican knows how serious it is to have the mariachi band at every family celebration we have. It’s looked at as a national emblem to express how proud we are to be Mexican! There are many levels to the charro outfit! Not any1 can just wear it. The Spanish conquistadors brought this idea up so they could be able to tell us lower class Mexicans apart from the Spanish. Mexican lower class horsemen couldn’t ride there horses unless they wore the charro outfit. Rappers need to stop wearing the charro outfit! Because I don’t see a bunch of Mexicans wearing dashiki? This war rn is between black ppl and white folks. I hardly see anything on the news about how ppl are racist asf towards Mexicans?
