Some of their early work was little new wave for my taste, but when BORDERLINE came out in '15, I felt they really came into their own, commercially, and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a BIG boost. They've been compared to FM-84, but I think they have a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '18, Duett released this, Cycles, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Don't Make Me Wait", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pain of delay, and the importance of patience, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

Duett it's in my top 3 favorite synthwave music bands of all time along with The Midnight and Le Cassette. How in the world did I missed this!!!! 2018???? Wth!!! I agree with a previous poster here, it would be a good thing if Luigi and NewRetroWave KZbin Channels were notified and allowed to post this to promote it so people like me would've known about this release immediately it came out!
