Yea that is a gap I should have covered. The SS feels more agile and the suspension is better. I am not a full lean type of rider but to me the power levels felt pretty similar. I had no issue braking the V13 but again I don't put a wheel typically into a situation where I have to stop on a dime.

I approve of this video 🙂 I'm seeing more and more evidence of people doing group buys to chop $1k off the price of a lot of wheels. That what happens when the prices go insane like they are. I thought the front bumpers on the V13 acted as a great kickstand - that's how I stored mine for a couple of months. I was on cement though.

Unfortunately un-cool people like me and other who can't group-buy are left out in the cold just watching vidoes and dreaming. Something needs to drastically be done about prices. I don't like the trend I am seeing.

I live in Boston. InMotion is the only company making waterproof wheels. I have a little Begode Mten4 for fun, but otherwise my commuting wheels are the V13 and V12.

I think the V13 is a great wheel. But after putting over 1,000km on my Sherman S, I realise that the Sherman S is everything I need - plenty enough speed, power & range for what I want/need. I just don't need a faster wheel and I don't really need to be going 80-90kph while balanced on a single wheel. I have done 3 rides that exceeded 100km on my Sherman S and still had over 25% range remaining on each of those rides, I'm planning on going for a >100km ride again today as well - the V13 just could not do such a ride unless i slowed right down. For me the Sherman S is a perfect match for my use case, but I did add Grizzla Flow pads and I change to NyloNove pedals as well as buying the upgraded seat with side pads. The V13 is great, but I just don't need it (or want to spend the money to have it).

Why do you ride? If you just got a sherman s then a V13 shouldn't even be on your radar. Too many in this community seem to not ride as much as they do obsess over the latest and debatably greatest wheel releases. People dont even have their pre orders yet and already looking at the next release. like guys chill. Go enjoy your sherman.

@@CrunchyTire I enjoy reading about various new wheels because I have curiosity. The V13 is an interesting wheel, so I've read about it and watched videos of it. It is useful to understand what other wheels are available and how they compare, especially if someone asks me if I would recommend buying the Sherman S. The more I ride my Sherman S and the more I read about other wheels (like the V13) the more I believe that the Sherman S is all that I need for how I ride and the more happy I become with my decision to have bought my Sherman S. I won't be buying a V13 because I don't really have much of a use case for one. I have my Sherman S and a smaller wheel (V12HT) and I also have an e-MTB with the Bafang Ultra (1,000W) motor and dual batteries (1,512Wh total) - I'm pretty good for PEVs for pretty much any use case I can think of. If I want to ride at 90kph or more then I won't be doing it on an EUC, I'd opt for my 1,000cc motorcycle instead because it can move at higher speeds MUCH more safely.

I'm 5'8" also. But sitting so high up your leg would just make it easier to sit......verses squatting so low while HOPING you're at the right angle so that the seat catches you!

Im 5'6" rounding up. And V13 is so big on me. I stand over it and suspension compressed a lil. My leg so high when over it. Pretty crazy. I dodnt realize it was so much bigger than v14. Was last min buy cause black friday

The only way you can prevent this is not buying items until they're actually in stock. There are so many variables between the china warehouse and ewheels inventory floor. maybe ewheels shouldn't be giving estimates on arrival but if they are told January by suppliers, and tell their customers January as a result, is it their fault the suppliers missed the ETA? If it makes you mad not getting the product you pre ordered, imagine how the business owner feels not getting the stock he paid for and potentially affecting his business? No one is winning by delaying your order lol

I'm feeling the same way about ewheels! I canceled my order on the V13 (after hearing about the issues) maybe 2 weeks ago. They said there would be a full refund.....but they shorted me $100! I've sent 3 emails asking about this in a week. No response to any of them!😡

The V13 is my 1st big wheel. For commuting and going around town. I wasn't looking for crazy range. I don't have to go to the next town over. Quiktrips have charging outlets. And there are a lot of them around where I live. I also needed something safe that I can take inside my job without the battery catching fire. Looking at you BEGODE. I was going to get the Sherman S. But then I was wondering what if my suspension fork got damaged. And then the wheel brake down to change a tire. I was like okay. I don't wait to take apart all of these screws. Then I made my decision for the V13 That's why I felt like it was smart for them to be able to convert from suspension to non suspension. I can monitor my battery cells. And run diagnostics on app. I think it'll hold me over for 2 years or more. I have a feeling once new wheels. Have about 5000 wh as the standard. Great torque: features: safety: modular design: reliability: sodium ion battery technology (could lower cost of batteries. I hope in the future they incorporate these practices. I look forward to the future of these EUC companies.

Ewheels is promising that we will be hearing something soon, they said December, then January, then late February. Alien rides say that they have them and will ship the next day. How hard can it be to get stainless steel bolts. The suspension is falling apart in the V13. IDK who is riding the V13 that I paid 4000 USD for but I am hoping that it is working towards me.

@@Duf range is important for me becuase when i go on group rides here in New York I don't like carrying my charger with me. the most ive done on any group ride is 60 miles and i never go more than 37 mph most of the time im only doing about 31 mph and thts fast enough for me.the only reason i like fast wheels is for the safety margin it offers. i have not taken my sherman up to 45 mph yet and i never will. falling at that speed is not worth the risk its bad for my bones (lol) and bad for the EUC AND BAD FOR MY WALLET LOL THE FASTEST IVE GONE IS 37.8 MPH
