You have to shoot the ball around the right alley twice. Then the red arrows will light up.

You get a high score by replaying Mewtwo stage. You have to go back to Diglett stage if you beat Mewtwo stage. I already beat it twice earlier in the game to meet Mew at Indigo Plateau, so there's no point beating it again.

You only get a high score by replaying the Mewtwo Stage. You can add 1.1 billion points each time you hit Mewtwo 22 times.

i died a couple hours after this video. i had 6 bonus slots: 3 were multipliers, 2 were small, and 1 was big. then i thought i had the thunder meter, went for the save, missed it, went for the tilt saver to the pikachu but nothing was there. by that time it was too late. the max score is 10 trillion-10. the odds of losing all your extra balls are small, but still greatly outweigh the chance of achieving that score. i average about 10 hours of play if i reach 9 extra balls.
