I’m planning on renting the q2 for my honeymoon. We’re taking a cycling trip in Portugal and we need to pack light. I also don’t want to feel like I’m working while I shoot. It just seems like the most fun option.

I love this camera. I used to daily carry a 28-70 and it's a beast to haul around. And I don't feel like I'm going to robbed carrying around big gear.

I’ve had my q2 for a few weeks and I love it. I come from a Sony a7iii with primes, so adjusting to a fixed prime lens wasn’t a big adjustment.

I wanted to buy Leica Q (the original one) but I changed my mind to bought the used Leica SL (the original one as well) which is a good price for now and use with Voigtlander lenses and sigma lenses which are affordable prices than Leica and I’m happy about it :)

For me, as I want to shrink my kit, Fuji for proceeded jpg out of camera or Lecia and be tied to post processing to get results. I post process now. Fuji is simpler, but I don't know if I can chose the best look at time of capture.

Leica cameras lose a bit of value, but not much and not for very long. You can almost always sell them (if you buy used) and get your money back. I am looking to move my Canon R6 and 24-105 towards a Q2. I love the simple exposure triangle configuration, sensor, weather proofing, OIS, and yes... the Leica feel. The Canon is big, clunky, and just has too many dials, buttons, and options. It's trying to be everything to everyone, and Leica can never be accused of that. I want a camera that's fun to use and motivates me to take it out every day. I think this is it... or am I just an idiot easily influenced by KZbinrs? 🙂 The Q3 looks awesome, but it's impossible to get and I'm not sure I really need 60MP.

Can’t overcome the price. Not too keen on the 28mm FOV. Of course, with 42MP, I could zoom into 35 or 50mm easily. I’d like to own a body with a red dot. It was cheaper to go to an office supply store and purchase some red circular stickers and place them on my Fuji bodies. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

You're buying a fast Leica 28mm lens, not a camera. If you buy a Leica M 28mm Summicron or Summilux lens, the lens alone is almost as expensive or more expensive than a Leica Q2. So really, you're getting a Leica fast 28mm lens with a free full frame camera attached to it.
