Brilliant, I was born in Dufftown and left before I found golf, however, returning to visit my Grandparents every so often, I've played both the 9 hole original and the newer 18 hole layout, that 10th tee shot is so inviting, fantastic video, and a pleasure to see the town and golf course where I grew up as a child ☺️ PS: your wife is right about the hat 😉

What a gem of a course this is, absolutely fantastic. My pals & I loved the place from the warm welcome we received to the quirkiness of the course and the breathtaking views. If you are in the area this is a must.

Andy this series has me considering a move to Scotland! I love how the game is part of the culture. We visited Scotland a couple years ago and came across our first honor box. We don't have those in the US! Thanks for sharing! Keep the cap!

Great looking golf course, the seaside is nice but this scenery is fantastic. The "Cap" is perfect for this setting. What makes your videos so great while we are watching, is the music you choose, really adds charm to your presentation.

Brilliant video, thanks. I’ve only been back into golf this last four or five months after a 25 year gap, so only found your vids recently. This has been my favourite so far; beautiful looking course, well filmed and edited; nice conversation with the volunteer…nice man. And insight into the cooperage. Played the course yesterday in similar weather to you Andy - Fantastic. It was our first time playing in the Uk (we are Brits who learned in Houston) and it felt very authentic because we hired old clubs (just £10 a set) which was challenging but fun. Not an easy course so bring a few balls (the rough is very unforgiving!). Great experience!

I admit I love a really good short par 3 (under 120 yards) and that one at Dufftown looked really special. Just shows you do not need length to make a very good and very interesting hole. And the hat should stay!

Very nicely in the landscape integrated golf course! You won't believe it, but where I am coming from (Austria) there are some places (and course) that look very similar. Over several years, I spent many weekends and holidays travelling south to tick off the 92 Football League grounds and saw a.match at each one. As well as putting many thousands of miles on my car, I now have a varied collection of caps, t-shirts, etc from grounds all over England and Wales.
