So thankful to Mikes Paddle Shop. I’m not even in California and they have gone out of there way to help me find a specific race board to help me reach my goal. So grateful for the shared experience and time they have given me ❤️. Thanks Mike! You make me want to move back to Cali.

Hey, im about to order an Atlantis 14x24. Don't have the chance to try it before buying, so i wanted to know a bit more about it's flat water and upwind capabilities. Mostly will be ridden in mild conditions. I already own a SIC RS 14X26. Thanks.

@Mike's Paddle unfortunately i live waaaayy too far to come by and have a look. If you can get back to me with your feedback it would be highly appreciated. Im surprised a board like this, is how hard to find. Limited reviews as well, so just wanted to be sure before i get it. Thanks in advance.

@@sotirispanteli1865 I don't the youtube comments section is the best place to help you out, but if you send me a text 415-704-6176 or email info@mikesapddle.com I can help you out. They are sold out for 2021 so you have plenty of time to make a decision.

Great video- what do you think is the one quiver killer of these? The Blackfish?
@mikespaddle3 жыл бұрын
It really depends on where you are paddling. If you paddle primarily on the bay or the coast than the is a great option. Feel free to give us a call if you'd like more help www.mikespaddle.com/pages/contact-us-1

I dont think that is the 2021 Allstar - it has much more dug out than that (mine does anyway).
@mikespaddle3 жыл бұрын
You are correct it's a 2020 Allstar (we didn't have a 2021 at the time of filming and we wanted to get this video out in time for our downwind season).

I cannot understand why many brands sell their high perfomance boards with such a dirty look. Why cannot they have a nice color and what's this stupid fashion to see the carbon under?
@levithewizard2 жыл бұрын
Hi I'm the guy in the video. A full layer of primer, paint, and and clear coat adds lot of weight on a 14' board. We all know weight is a big selling factor with race board so they try to add as little as possible. It's not good to NOT paint a carbon board just to save lbs as the paint protects the carbon from UV damage. So the thin matte finish is a compromise between weight and protection. Hope that sheds some light on the "distressed paint" trend.
