This movie is so underrated, my favorite scene has to be when Albert goes on that rant in the bar, Seth's stone cold delivery of each line had me cackling like a witch. It reminded me so much of the "And may God have mercy on your soul" scene from Billy Madison. 😂😂

Watched it when it first came out on Blu ray in like 2015. Stuck with me as a great funny film. Spoke to others who weren't as enthusiastic. Confused, but I got on with my life. Recently showed my missus at the time this film and realised how bloody good it still is and holds up. I don't understand the hate either.

The funny thing is, it wasn’t written for the movie. The song was actually written by Stephen Foster in the 1800’s. They changed some lyrics for the movie I think, but the basic song is over 160 years old.

The other reason people never smiled in older photos is depending on how far back you go into photography it took several seconds of holding the pose, this caused people to go more to a neutral or somewhat frown like appearance. Even after photography started catching up, the idea of holding a more neutral pose came to be a standard. Another reason could have to do with different times and their hardships such as the great depression photos a lot of people stumble on where everybody is frowning.

Lmao, the guy gently brushing aside Foy's hand when he keeps reaching for his hat kills me every time. Alberts dad is hilarious. "You're late!" "For WHAT?!!!" "....Fair enough." I've heard bad things about Seth's acting but I really do love this movie. Liam Neeson accepted the role due to a scene in Family Guy where Peter says “Imagine Liam Neeson in a Western! Ha!
