Duk was a free transfer in effect, he had no leverage over Aberdeen. Good player, with an exceptionally bad attitude. Threw his toys last summer after he didn’t get his way. Didn’t even turn up this summer wanting a free transfer. If Benfica thought he wasn’t damaged goods then they’d have asked a transfer fee. Let’s not fool ourselves he’s back to pick up his wedge which he wasn’t getting sitting on a beach in Portugal.
