Hello Discerning Pen Friends,
Today we cast our judgment upon the Duke 2009 "Charlie Chaplin" Tribute Fountain Pen whilst delving into the question of Why Chaplin maintains such cultural significance among Chinese fans so long after his death on December 25th, 1977. It's quite fascinating!

[4:08] • DUKE 2009 "Charlie Cha... I refer to Chaplin's parents being alcoholics. In fact, Charles Sr. was an untreated alcoholic with whom Chaplin lived in 1898 (at age 9) when his mother, Hannah, was committed to an asylum. His father's condition was so severe that he died from cirrhosis of the liver in 1900 (at age 38). This was long before successful treatments for alcoholism existed (Alcoholic Anonymous was founded by Bill Wilson in 1935).
