I personally don't think John was despising Arthur's memorie while taking revenge on Micah. Even though Arthur never cared about revenge, I think even he would understand that John did what needed to be done. Even John wrote on Arthur's diary soon after: "I know this world is a better place without Micah."

You should do a video on the lore about the gang members' horses. For example, Dutch rides The Count, an Arabian. Arabians are famous for their incredibly high stats, making them very popular among players. However, Arabians have a secret, hidden stat - they scare very easily. While on paper they seem to be the best in the game, Arabians are the most skittish and nervous of all the horses, something that, in my opinion, plays into Dutch's character very well.

Personally - I never wear Arthur’s hat as John. Just doesn’t make sense from a practical standpoint to me. I feel like John wouldn’t really wear someone else’s hat, not someone who he’s familiar with. He’d identify it as Arthur’s hat and Arthur’s hat only imo.

I’m not sure why it’s seen as a bad/immoral thing to stop him from continuing to harm innocents, by letting him continue, that’s complacency and is arguably the immoral option. If John didn’t hunt down Micah, which led to Dutch deciding to shoot him, it would’ve instead been Micah hunting down all of the gang members during RDR1. Since we see the Pinkertons pull up to Mount Hagen during the credits, Micah was probably planning on ratting out Dutch. I think John being there is the sole reason why Dutch shot Micah, as to why? That’s a whole other can of worms.
