Unlikely. It's not the first weapon burial that researchers have found. So it's generally accepted that weapon burying (Sacrifice) was a normal practice among the Germanic tribes at this time, so the writing is mostly assumed to have religious significance. So the theory goes that the person making the sacrifice carves their name (Muha of Asugisalas) followed by a battle cry or chant (Hahaha. I invoke hail into this spear)

The jest of throwing the spear is one of those original classics that probably was born not even a whole 10 minutes into the first group of guys in history, who got spears and had the first spearthrowing competition. 😂
