Hi maybe you haven’t noticed this yet. But I’m Japan there is a superstition that when you sneeze is because someone is talking about you. It’s a very common joke and appears in multiple animes.

It a common thing in Asian and Japan culture that when someone is talking about you you sneeze. Thats why in many animes when people are talking about someone it gives a shot of them sneezing

Ye in my country, hiccups are considered as someone remembering you. And if you talk about someone and they happen to Randomly appear, we say how they'll live a 100 years. There are many things like that

15:00 there is a Japanese folk tale that if someone is talking about you, then you will sneeze. You can see this play out in many anime where people are talking about another character, then flash cut to that character sneezing. Kind of a joke/light hearted moment.

This might be my favorite filler episode of MHA. The first episode of every new season is a recap, but they give us a nice framing device.

This wasn't a bad episode. I really liked the reporter. I wish we get to see more of him in the future. As far as recap episodes go, no sho can beat Avatar the Last Airbender's, The Ember Island Players. Classic!

Here's a theory of mine. I think the reporter is the catalyst for Deku telling his story. Remember how earlier episodes showed that Deku was narrating his life's story from the future and how he became the World's Greatest Hero? I bet Deku is narrating his story through the Reporter in some future Biography called "When the New Symbol of Peace was Young" or something along those line. I don't know who the in-universe audience would be, considering it includes the secret for One for All and All Might in the Narration, it could be time when those secrets were already made public, or it could be a personal, unpublished novel. If my theory is true, then this is no mere filler episode, but one that justifies Deku's narration.

The general public doesn't know that quirks can be transferred, as very few peoples can do so. Still its common practice for heroes to pick an apprentice with a similar quirk to their own. Given the pool of students we have it would be natural to circle in on Deku first just by looking at the list of powers. Granted there could be other students in the second or third years that have similar quirks. I don't know how often All Might teaches a class other than 1-A.

hahah about the sneezing; its a japanese superstition that when you sneeze its because someone is talking about you. You'll see this trope coming up over and over in anime. So All Might wasn't getting sick its just alluding that people were talking about him behind his back. Sometimes you'll even hear characters joking about that very thing after they sneeze. Anyways, great reaction! This season has SOME AMAZING fights and great plot. I can't wait to see your reactions. i think you'll really like it :)

@@mutekiman287 there are loads of reasons as to why you can hear ringing in your ears. one of them (my own) is phantom noise. basicly some of the bristles in my ear that detect sound are broken/don't work anymore and they keep sending the signal to the brain (Hey i'm detecting vibrations/sound!) even tho there is none in reality. if it affects your mood you should see a doctor. just knowing it is inside my head and meditation helped alot to zone it out. it caused depression and insomnia for me as it was never truelly quiet.

All might is still a teacher at UA, he is just a retired hero rather than an active one like the other staff members. Remember that he has decades of experience in being a pro hero. Yes rice is a traditional and common thing to have at breakfast in Japan, but that’s doesn’t mean they don’t have other things like cereal and stuff.

I literally don't get why so many people have issues with mha filler, at most its usually like 2 episodes per season, maybe a couple other little moments added here and there, and they typically always add new fun interactions between the characters or a different outlook at hero society. There are even a few that fill in some information we weren't given in the manga and give some characters that otherwise wouldn't get a lot of screentime fun moments. Like during the licensing arc where they had that episode about momo, tsu, jirou and shouji passing the first round, plus that added little scene of todoroki fighting the ninja kids (we love to see a king stay winning). and in season 2 when we got to see tsu at her internship. I love episodes like these, cuz not only do we get cute little interactions between the characters, but we get to learn more about them, and we get to learn more about the world. Plus we get introduced to new really cool characters, like selkie and sirus. Literally, like the only mha filler episode to date that I'd even remotely label as not worth watching is the pool episode, and even that one is great cuz its filled with so many funny moments it's just a joy to watch. Plus I think that those moments, the ones where the class is just allowed to have fun and be teenagers, are so important to the upcoming arcs and it really helps define midoriyas motives as a character, because while he wants to save and help people, he also desperately wants to have fun with his classmates, and watch them all become heroes together, so I think that it is really important see these fun little snippets, because it helps solidify why midoriya is so attached to his classmates, and why he's so willing to go out of his way for them. They're his best friends, and these episodes help get that feeling across, especially with characters we don't get to see very often. So like, yeah I don't get at all why people don't like mha filler. As someone who is caught up with the manga, these domestic times are gonna be really important to look back on and this filler isn't anywhere as bad as shows like naruto and one piece. They're totally worth watching and I'm convinced anyone that says otherwise doesn't really know what they're talking about.

This is a filler episode only in that it's not there in the manga, it's an anime only episode. Still pretty cute though :D Can't wait for you to watch the next few episodes!

Cereal and rice aren’t actually all that different when it comes to breakfast food. The only real difference is which grain is used, since most cereals are made of oats or wheat. Cereal just tends to be WAY more processed.

Meat buns are steamed baos often filled with bbq pork, chicken, and beef, some are also filled with red bean paste or veggies. They are fun to make and delicious 😋, please try either ordering them or cooking them together with a video.

While this may be a filler episode. It's still a fine watch. Those who dump on it are wrong. Probably the same people who hate on dub version. You guys commented several times about watching dub version, but also shat on Deku's English voice. While I fully admit that his voice isn't good and even annoyed me at first, I got use to it. But that's not why you watch the dub version. All Might is the reason! Voiced by Chris Sabat, his voice is SO WONDERFUL....it's like a Rolls Royce....smooth, classy and elegant. There are many other great voices (i.e. Aizawa) but All Might is a must hear. Plan you private rewatch in dub. 😁

Rice is pretty much the equivalent of bread in western culture. Some people have it for breakfast, it compliments other meals, etc. Great anime that touches on that is Yakitate!! Japan, a show where a boy chef has a dream of making bread as popular as rice in japan.

Well there's a lot that would point to Deku as the successor. Similar quirk, probably has a reputation as one of the most passionate students in the class, and if he knew what Bakugo said in Middle School, he probably knows enough about Deku to know he's a huge All Might fanboy.
