I watched this because of the regional beauty, not because it is a railroad. But as I watch it occurs to me that much of this railbed route is either trestles or tunnels--often going almost directly from one to the other. What engineering and maintenance! It boggles my mind!

Thanks for uploading this beautiful voyage. And big up to Yugoslav railway engineers, the tracks in that region are more than challenging. Someone who was planning and constructing such a thing virtually can build everything. It is also very informative to watch those films, as they teach a lot about the country's geography and geology. Really, stupendous footage of spectacular travels.

This is beautiful and the panorama leaving the tunnel at 38:52 is breath taking. I am a great fan of black and white photography and there are times when your reach just about every shade in the gray scale...and then there's a flash of color. I'm only about an hour into it, so I have much more to see...and I look forward to it. Just finished it. Spectacular. Thank you.

Magnifique journey ! Beautiful railway in wild mountains..... In 1978 and 1980, i am going holidays Yougoslavia and Greece, I camp on the sea side at Bar. The railway is in good condition except grafitis....on France also. Thanks for this video.

Spectacular scenery! Constructing the route through the mountains must have been a massive undertaking, but perhaps at that time there were no reliable roads and the train provided the only access to those towns. Taking this trip is a must-do for tourists.
