I am getting married in Pakistan in December & I often look through the videos because I will have to dress, do makeup & know the cerimony since it is different than where I am from. These dresses & brides are beautiful. I can only hope I am a beautiful bride like these here:)

@AwesomeTruth1982 You're wrong about only Indian Muslims not wearing red dots on their wedding. Indian Sikhs and Indian Christians don't wear dots either. It would be better to say that Hindu's wear the red dot b/c it is symbolic for them. Not for other religions.

women has more honor in islam than any other religions. She is only a slave to God. Rights of women in islam are quite admiring. however you are right many of the payals chuuris, mehndi etc are not islamic practices but cultural, which has occured due to our roots and where it has come from. india, bangladesh, pakistan being all and one country will naturally adopt each others cultures. it is our faith that determines who we are.

Like I said, those mathematicians were all born in India, many of them in the South. Your logic is contradictory. European historians are ignorant of Pakistan's history but somehow well informed about India. And Bollywood is market driven. Apparently there are lots of people that like it as it seems to make money even in the US.

Men will always be allured by women's bodies regardless of their attires. Whether they are in burqas, saris, jeans, dresses, whatever the mode of dress for your region, men still think of women's bodies, it is biology. Sometimes religion takes precedence over culture and other times it is the opposite. We are all humans and we all have to co- inhabit this earth. What matters is your character as a person whether it is religiously or morally bound. Sometimes it is best to agree to disagree!

But, I am not saying that Indians don't wear red dots. I am saying that only Hindus in India wear the red dot and yes I know that Hindus are the majority but there are a lot of diff minorities too. So, instead of saying that ONLY indian muslims don't wear the dot which is WRONG just say that Hindus in India wear the red dot.

Firstly, IV civ. was Dravidian and the Dravidians today are in S. India. Secondly, those mathematicians I quoted all happen to be born in India and two in S. India. Thirdly, just because we were dumb enough to give you a large chunk of our land doesn't mean the history belongs to you. Finally, there are no remants of Indian history/culture present in Pakistan. Your culture came from the West of you. Ours is indigenous to our country.

Indus valley Civ. was 5,000 years ago. At that time, the only people there were today's Indians. The people living there today were certainly not the inhabitants of IV. And IV extended all the way downward to Gujarat. You are the product of invaders. Vedic culture and history is certainly not yours. The remants of Vedic culture is intrinsic to India and permeates our culture. Since Pakistanis are always so keen on associating themselves with Arabs, stick to that.
