I do repair in a very small mountain town, so I rarely see multiples of the same vehicles. Nearly every vehicle I see is different, so every repair is different. It saves me a remarkable amount of time to find a video of a certain repair to get a grip of a job like this before it arrives. Great video. This video was on point and helped me save a friend over $1.000 she had been quoted to fix her window. Only problem was the window came out of the grips on regulator. Unscrupulous repair shop. The driver side window was all the same except the cover that is under arm handle on passenger side is down further as part of the door storage compartment side.

I’m in the middle of doing this. Cut the wires stripped the nuts to get the glass out and everything and all of a sudden u got to stop because genius service writer Didint get it approved he just approved it himself. Very good video works on driver side as well

Very good video...the only thing I suggest is spraying a little silicone grease into window slides, as this is usually the main cause of the regulator going bad. Thanks...Again, good job!

Is there a difference between the driver's side motor and the other door motors? I recently replaced my non working driver's side window motor and the master switch stopped operating the other windows and the driver's window switch works in reverse (up is down and down is up)

Most time the 2 front door are the same but the back door can be different but not far off because you already get the concept of changing them

The mk5 door was a waaayyyy better design.the outer door skin came off and the regulator came out easier
