I’m struck by how much quieter the Planemates seem than the original Chrysler-Budd lounges. Much smoother and less rumbly. They don’t have the loud docking screech either.

They still run these over there? That's awesome, I haven't been to Dulles Airport since Summer 2009 (but I'm flying in there Jan next year) and I thought these would be long gone after the introduction of the Aerotrain..
