Duluth, Missabe, & Iron Range

On the last day of my trip to the Iron Range, I opted to catch the North Shore Scenic Railroad's own DM&IR #332 make its run north along the shoreline of Lake Superior. Having been recently restored to operation over the winter, the #332 put on a great show pulling a private excursion to Two Harbors. It's definitely safe to say I will surely return to the North Shore Scenic Railroad to document their other motive power eventually! I hope y'all enjoy!

The Twin Ports are Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. There is much to sight see in this area and Duluth is the farthest inland seaport in the world. Ocean going vessels come in occasionally but the 1,000 ft lakers going thru the ship channel under the arial lift bridge is a sight to see. This train is running along the North Shore between Duluth, MN and Two Harbors, MN. The beginning footage is from the railroad museum in downtown Duluth. I have been on this train but not when pulled by steam.
