We drove through there on the way home from a West coast vacation. Nothing extraordinary, but we laughed at a sign that said something like "Dumas, home of the Ding-dong daddy" or something worded like that.

On our drive from Biloxi, MS to Colorado Springs, CO every summer to visit our grandchildren, my husband & I stay overnight in Dumas and find it charming. In fact, we are considering retiring there in a couple of years; especially, since it is only about a four hour drive from the kids.
