The ref was told by the league to make an apology when everyone knows he did it on purpose because how could the ref make that bad of an error that is that obvious even to the average viewer especially when you could see it clearly even on your own phone let alone in person when you're right in front of it and how come all these obvious bad calls always happen in games involving Tom Brady And not really any other games? Cuz I remember one earlier this year against Atlanta where Tom Brady was clearly sacked legally and TB nearly kicked the guy in the face and they call the penalty on the guy who sacked him. And you can see just like this obvious call that the sack was clearly legal, now how could the ref miss that? They did these calls on purpose for 3 reasons: to make sure the Golden boy Tom Shady wins because the league needs him to win because he is their biggest commodity that makes the most revenue for the NFL, that's common sense because he's a cult figure and that's why the league made him into a cult figure to make more money for the league. And the second reason is because they want to see who's willing to go along with it without questioning anything so the NFL can lie to us more in the future so you'll blindly go along with it and be dumbed down even more as part of the NWO training because the master doesn't like his slaves questioning anything and the third reason is Tom Shady is part of the occult himself and I'm pretty sure of that..😂🤣

Making matters worse, with 2:54 remaining on 2nd and 7, the Saints called a pass play during the four-minute offense. The end result was a 10-yard loss on a sack. Third down led to the incomplete pass to Taysom Hill that allowed the Bucs to have one timeout in their pocket and the two-minute warning. That game was giftwrapped to Tom Brady and company. Inexcusable.

Since I’m seeing people talk about how the Patriots didn’t call a timeout at the end of Super Bowl 49, I read an oral history of that play in Sports Illustrated. They wanted the Seahawks to not line up with run-heavy personnel, and were afraid if they called a timeout the Seahawks would bring back in the game run-heavy personnel.

This gave me bad memories of Ray Rhodes only season as Packers Head Coach vs Panthers when in final minute of game with all 3 time outs and clinging to a small lead Carolina drove into Red Zone I was screaming use a time out in case they score…but nope he didn’t Carolina scored and won game with no time left, just shook my head 33-31, could have had ball with chance to kick FG to win it. Ron Wolf later said biggest regret of his career as Green Bay GM was not hiring Andy Reid in 1999 because he had no experience as HC, I couldn’t wait for Ray Rhodes to be gone after that game, had to wait until after last game of season, longest month as Packers fan.

I think that letting the clock run is the right call. You try to run the clock out, to give the Bucs less time. That said, I do agree that calling the timeout when they did was a mistake. Just let the clock roll. This was not a "dumb decision", but just a tiny mistake.
@Flamquill
@Flamquill Жыл бұрын
Sadly, this series only focuses on coaches. The dumbest decision in that game was Mark Ingram chickening out of an easy first down. The pass play on 3rd and 1 after it was dumb, too, but there shouldn't have been a 3rd and 1. Also, whoever decided to have the win percentage at 98.1 with THAT much time left should be fired and replaced with someone who understands why the saying "prevent prevents you from winning" was coined. Comebacks like this happens all the time. This comeback wasn't surprising. It was predictable. What's surprising is when the forego the desire to win for the display of "sportsmanship" actually works.
@coreyadams1982
@coreyadams1982 Жыл бұрын
Exactly, if Ingram gets the first it's a likely different outcome. He was "allegedly" injured but even if he extends his arms maybe the Saints have 3rd and inches instead of 3rd and 1.

I couldnt agree more. I swear every week I’m watching at least one game with absolutely mind blowing stupidity for clock management, play calling etc at the end of the game. I dont remember a year seeing so many awful clock management/play calling games. I didnt know if it was just me noticing it because I dont hear a lot about it. Every now and then they talk about a bad timeout/play call/not calling timeout but it happens all the time multiple times a game and its not that difficult to do. ESPECIALLY if you’re a professional football coach who has been playing/coaching this game their whole life. HOW TF DO THEY NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE THESE SIMPLE CALLS AND DECISIONS?!?

What's going on...then I watched the video and it's the same ugly story over and over with coaches bungling clock management....I'll say it again, there needs to be a "logic and voice of reason" coach on every NFL team. This is the coach that says on 3rd and 1, run the ball, not throw a 50 yard pass down the field. This needs to be the coach who is an analytics person who understands clock management rather than just football..... Unreal--Great video today

I think the dumb decisions were more so how Tampa was even in the game to begin with. Though I do agree that they should called that timeout a little earlier I can rationalize why they didn’t. Priority number 1 was keeping Tampa out of the end zone. I trust the saints defense getting a goal line stop more than Id trust Andy Dalton. I can’t even defend Dennis Allen and the Saints because of how miserable the play calling and execution was on both sides of the ball so I’d say it was more dumb decisions than a singular dumb decision

Brady might be both the greatest and luckiest QB of all time. If this was against almost any other QB, Dennis Allen’s stupidity probably doesn’t come back to bite him. Teams often turn into scared and stupid shells of themselves against him in clutch moments.
@anthonyjkenn6319
@anthonyjkenn6319 Жыл бұрын
This actually could be the LEAST dumbest decision Allen did in this game. *THE* dumbest decision came just before the final drive by Brady, when Allen brought RB Mark Ingram back in the game after he was injured two plays earlier. On 2nd and 8, Allen decides to call a sideline pass to Ingram at the boundary, whereas the latter forgets to go past the 1st down sticks and goes out of bounds just shy of the marker, giving the Bucs a virtual free TO. WHY IS INGRAM STILL IN THE GAME WHEN YOU HAVE PERFECTLY HEALTHY ALVIN KAMARA AND TAYSOM HILL TO RUN THE GODDESS DANG PLAY????
@anthonyjkenn6319
@anthonyjkenn6319 Жыл бұрын
And then, to further ice the stupidity of Allen being so in over his head as a HC, he decides on a 3rd-and-1 that could salvage his season, and having the aforementioned THill and AK41 healthy, not to mention Andy Dalton's success with quarterback sneaks, he dials up... a slant pattern to Marquez Callaway. Incomplete. And, to finish off this trifecta of brain dead, on 4th and 1 inside Buc territory where all the analytics and simple common sense say go for it to keep possession and further eat up clock, and keep the ball out of Brady's hands? Allen decides to punt the ball. This is the nonsense that Saints fans have put up with all year long with this..... gentleman. We could have had Brian Flores in a reload season, but we got this because "CoNtInUiTy". Disgusting.

To me, this was ab obvious choice. Dalton was playing worse than Brady was playing well. Asking Dalton to go down the field in 18 seconds seemed a LOT harder than getting Brady to make a mistake or simply tackle a player in bounds. I'd do the same, try to make them run out of time, if one Saints player had made the stop before White got into the endzone, times up and Buccs lose.

The ineptness of the NFC South has vastly improved the records of the AFC North, but not the NFC West. These are the divisions each team in the NFC South plays this year. Here are the results so far: Buccaneers - wins against Rams and Seahawks, losses against Steelers, Ravens and Browns - games remain against 49ers, Bengals and Cardinals Falcons - wins against Seahawks, Browns and 49ers, losses against Rams, Bengals and Steelrs - games remain against Ravens and Cardinals Panthers - no wins, losses against Browns, Cardinals, 49ers, Rams, Bengals and Ravens - games remain against Seahawks and Steelers Saints - wins against Seahawks and Rams, losses against Bengals, Cardinals, Ravens, Steelers and 49ers - game remain against Browns Records against AFC North - 1-11 (4 games remain) (yes, only one win in 12 games against the Browns as the only AFC North team to lose although the others could) NFC West - 6-6 (4 games remain) If the Browns beat the Saints, every AFC North team will have a winning record against the NFC South Teams. Interestingly enough, in 2014, when the NFC South was also as bad as this year, the AFC North faced the NFC South and feasted on them that year also. The Panthers "won" the NFC South with a 7-8-1 record versus the 7-9 Saints, 6-10 Falcons and 2-14 Buccaneers. By comparison, the AFC North records were Steelers 11-5, Bengals, 10-5-1, Ravens 10-6 and Browns 7-9. The Steelers, Bengals and Ravens all made the playoffs.

Dennis Allen is to the NFL what Chad Morris was to College Football. Not only is he a horrid coach.. they even look alike.

Maybe NFL coaches should watch your videos, they could learn a few things

So according to you like half the coaches would have been fired by now

And why shouldn’t they be? There are 10 year olds that would have done a better job than some of the jokers that have coached this season.

Terrible take, they scored with 3 seconds left calling a TO to give them more time to try and score is the opposite of what youd want to do.

The ref was told by the league to make an apology when everyone knows the ref knew the Tampa Bay receiver stepped out of bounds well short of the first down because how could the ref make that bad of an error that is that obvious even to the average viewer especially when you could see it clearly even on your own phone let alone in person when you're right in front of it and how come all these obvious bad calls always happen in games involving Tom Brady And not really any other games?

Oh!! How I wish you could have thrown it to me, so I could go on a 10 minute rant about what else cost the Saints this game!! The play calling in the last 6 minutes of the game (offensively) couldn’t have been worse!! Combine that with Mark Ingram RUNNING OUT OF BOUNDS & STOPPING THE CLOCK, ALL WHILE NOT GETTING A FIRST DOWN HE EASILY COULD HAVE GOTTEN. Then follow that up with a deep seam route on 3rd and 1 (STOPPING THE CLOCK AGAIN!!!!) and you have a CLINIC on how to lose a game that you dominated for 3.66 quarters. PATHETIC!! (Don’t forget Dalton taking a sack on a FIVE STEP DROP out of a Jumbo set on 2nd and 6. 😤)
