Love his videos(and these), it's really nice to see someone go into details and be a bit cynical now and then. His approach to videos help give me confidence to talk in my own videos because it doesn't have to be perfect lights, camera, action, smiles all day. You can make it doing your own thing I think it's really cool to watch people who aren't necessarily pros adding flavor to the skateboarding world. There are millions of us and skateboarding is way too hard for no one or only a handful of super human level skaters to get rewarded for their input.

Iirc nakel was hating on this skate shop and when him and his friends saw kids wearing shirts of that skate shop they would rip the shirts off their backs and Gifted Hater made a video criticizing him. He also talked about a lot of other shitty things that nakel has done to people over his career. Nakel smith seemingly struggles with a lot of drug and mental health issues which may or may not play into his behaviors which made things complicated.

You should watch Hater's last upload on YT (the one about YT skaters) which talks a lot about what he calls "toxic positivity." It made a lot of sense to me. Maybe you'll still disagree and we can just call it a fundamental disagreement but maybe you'll see just why IMO a degree of cynicism is needed in skating.
