Most people just be quiet or try to have an alibi when they’re impostor, but dumbdog finds a believable narrative for what could have happened, and then just straight up solves the murders wrong. He has so much credibility and is such a good liar it’s crazy

Ever since Ovilee claimed Glitch (as Glitch, after having killed both impostors) to try and vote out an impostor on 6, I've been waiting to see if this play would make another appearance and actually work. Of course Dumbdog would be the one to use it and clutch the win! GG!

Town of Salem players do that sort of thing all the time. « I’m Maf, inno and find the Arso » They call it the brute force method. It works because voting out Glitch gives imps the win so if crew believes the glitch claim they should try to find an imp instead.

In a social deduction game I used to play, that play did get used to great effect in one of my most legendary games ever. It was going atrociously for the good team, with the current people alive being 4 evils vs 2 good (one with limited-use voting power, the other, me, with a limited-use killing power pretty similar to vigilante but who can also temporary transfer their power to someone else to protect them) vs 1 neutral killer (who had a silencing power that prevents people from using their power, kindof similar to glitch's hack, and also a shield; both abilities were limited use sharing the same pool of charges but he regains 1 charge for every 2 kills he makes). The evils tried to vote the neutral killer but he outed himself and made an alliance with the good faction. And it worked. We managed to deduce/guess who the evil leader with converting powers was (if he'd stayed alive he would have 100% won the game for evils), and, using the voting power guy, managed to get him out despite being outnumbered (the neutral killer also silenced an evil with voting powers). At night I kept bluffing that I was using my ability (even though I wasn't to save charges) so none of the evils wanted to get close to me because I was scary AND I also protected the voting power guy. Meanwhile the neutral killer kept killing bad guys and surviving their attacks and then in the meetings we executed more. Eventually we managed to kill all the evils and then it was time for the final showdown. The vote guy had kept his final use of his voting power and I had also managed to keep my final use of my power specifially for this moment (even though I bluffed and told people I was out). But the neutral killer had expected this and also somehow managed to keep 2 uses of his power all game: he disabled my power and killed me. Then disabled voting guy's voting power to survive the day and killed him too, ending with the win. I didn't end up winning that game but damn it was amazing. Despite being down to just 2 players against 5, in the faction with weak abilities whose advantage is supposed to be numbers and voting people out, we still came soo close. Thanks to the power of friendship with the neutral killer who outed himself. And also it turned out the neutral killer was actually streaming the game on twitch so I got to watch the vod afterwards! [I didn't mention but the good faction could actually have won the game if I didn't misplay. You see, as a "killing role" on the good team, I also had 2 uses of poison, which is a kill button that takes about 4 or 5 minutes to work and also announces to the person that they're poisoned. It's not very good against anyone evil because it's so slow at killing (the rest of your team is sure to vote them out before they die of poison, and are unlikely to trust your calls of "you don't need to vote them out, trust me on this"); it is mostly used for killing jesters, and I did actually use the first one earlier on in the game against a jester. I used the second one on the neutral killer during the fight against the evil faction but my timing was bad and the poison went off at the same time that the neutral killer killed me, meaning their silence also prevented the poison kill on them from going through. If I had triggered it just a tiny bit earlier or a tiny bit later, the poison would have hit, taking away 1 of his charges from his shield which would have meant he didn't have enough charges to silence voting-power guy, and voting-power guy would have been able to vote him out to win the 1v1. In my defence, it's incredibly hard to predict what the game-state will be like so far in the future and get the correct timing right]

Exactly, you should not blackmail unnecessarily especially if there is a vigilante in the game, it just narrows the pool of possible roles for the imposters and increase suspicion on you if a body is found / button is called early. Blackmailing folks is for shit and giggles is funny though

If there’s 3 crew, 2 impostors & a glitch, it’s all but over for crew unless they vote impostor, any bad, last bad without losing any crew for the first two votes (and glitch votes with crew the first vote). I’m not sure which mod has the mayor always get two votes every meeting instead of accumulating votes, but that seems like the balanced approach… if this isn’t that mod, a mayor that starts with two votes could be fine. There were only 3 meetings this game, so a maximum of 5 votes in the second scenario, if done correctly.

The play at the end was definitely to insta-report after stabbing Hafu then guessing Junk, otherwise Junk could've gotten the kill on Baycon first. Regardless, Baycon actually got one of Ze or dk, so Junk would've definitely got the kill on Baycon first, and it was lucky DumbDog got the kill on Junk, though his cool-down was probably still not up. But otherwise the game was played nearly to perfection. This is assuming one of the imposters can guess in this mod, which, I’m not even that sure about since there have been like 15 variations of different mods.

Yeah, Baycon must have killed 1-2 crew as well, leaving only Junk and DD alive once Junk killed Baycon. Maybe one crewmate was alive but DD killing Junk means he's either last man standing or left with only one crewmate.
