Sometimes there are financial predators hanging around successful people in entertainment just waiting to take advantage of them as well. These managers, lawyers, and so called accountants should be held responsible for taking advantage as well .
@carinaelizabethpaul9785
@carinaelizabethpaul9785 Жыл бұрын
Exactly it's the managers, accountants, and lawyers, and if they don't pay their taxes it's all over for them. Plus buying all this jewelry and cars and clothes and not watching out for their financial statements and thinking others will take care of it. Plus they only get money for the live shows they do. The record companies take a large chunk first and other business people leave the artist with a small amount of money. Signing those contracts is hell for some. they tell you to sign right away and it could be pages of print. The print will say the record company keeps 50 to 70% and then they have to pay off everyone else.

No, it was their ignorance of not knowing about the audits and how much the labels were stealing from them is the biggest contributor towards their bankruptcy, then you combine that with the insane amount of spending and that equals disaster. Respect to Chamillionaire for having the knowledge and not being caught up in the insaneness.

There is a difference between rich & wealthy. Rich is like living payday to payday. Wealthy is living off a quarter of your paycheck & what your basic needs are & put the rest into saving or other shelters that earn you money. Shaq said that at one point & I never forgot it.

There was this football player and for the life of me I can't remember his name and the person that was interviewing him asked him about his spending habits, He said he doesn't spend his money on luxury items. He gave a great example. He said you have some entertainers that will spend $100,000 on jewelry knowing you can't sell it for the same price. He see these guys with expensive watches on their wrists saying time is free! He asked the interview what time it was; then said that cost me nothing! A lot of people that don't come from means don't understand that your worth is not what's on your wrist, the car you drive, or the mansion you bought. If I had a million dollars the first thing I wouldn't do is buy jewelry or a car. I would figure out how to make more money with it!
