Oh wow, this girl lol. I used to watch her vids when she just did cooking shorts. Then she started incorporating personal stories to her videos and it just wasn’t for me. What bugged me out is that she is a person that does everything opposite what her successful mom recommends, but still accepts her money to maintain her lifestyle. Have no idea what she’s done for the past year, but if she was able to find her own footing good for her.

Yes, she did go against a lot of what her mom wanted her to do, but I don't think she receives money from her parents. She does seem like the type of person that will do everything in her will to prove otherwise. And I can say from her videos that this year was a very tough one for her with a lot of lessons. She is definitely a super hardworking person and is not scared to say whenever she was wrong. She is still young, there's plenty of time to make these types of mistakes as long as you learn from them and use them for personal growth..

She had made a video on being privileged and being called out by her fanbase for some of the attitude she has had or shown. In the end I personally don't know her so i can't say anything about her as a person, what I will say though is that..when your content crosses into or overlaps with your personal life it can bring a lot of issues with your community, judgement and what not.

Even if she did recieve money from her parents to start out, there's nothing wrong with that. That's what parents do. They support you financially until you are able to get off your feet without their support no more. Also, if you come from finiancial privilege, it's fine to use it to get ahead. It's backwards how jealous other people get when other kids have it better than you'll ever have. Either work harder than dooby to surpass her success, or go get married, have kids and focus on rising them well. Stop being ugly.

@@snotrohmitabc123 I think most of the backlash came from her attitude and the way she presented herself and her opinions about privilege. In the end life is all about growing, being privileged can be as simple as having something the next man doesn't. Unfortunately, on the internet judging people from behind your screen is perhaps one of the first and easiest things you can do. "Oh your parents are rich, therefore you can't complain about anything at all." By the same logic, I had a bike as a kid and barely rode it, some kids didn't. I barely rode it because i didn't have friends to ride with. But i can't complain because I had a bike.

It's a touchy subject because i follow a few cooking creators but she personally is more self centered and focused on her "small story aesthetic" rather than full food only. Never watched the channel but big fan of Dooby. She's great and while I miss watching her cooking & dishes, I do love her background, zany character and personality. She makes me laugh about the little things and enthusiasm. Her restaurant is amazing that she did everything with Kevin building it from renovation to operation. She & Kevin are great. You guys better eat there for one show. I've also caught her on Jolly on British desserts. Keep it up and I'll be looking on more videos on this channel.
