Hey Jen! I wanted to let you know I made the turkey meatballs and the mac n cheese recipies for my Christmas Eve dinner tonight! They were a huge success! I also served all my usual stuff too butt thought these would be easier on me. They were easy! And everyone loved it! I had no leftovers of mac n cheese and the kids got 2nds.... My oldest nephew is such a picky eater, he is 24 now but still hardly eats anything but m&m's, chicken nuggets, fries, Or mac n cheese and he actually said that he lived the meatballs! "I think they are my favorite thing tonight" WOW the ham, the lamb, the turkey dressing all went to the fridge but the mac n cheese was scraped clean and the meatballs had just a fraction left over after making 6 pounds of the Wal-Mart brand of turkey meatballs! I have truly enjoyed your crockpot recipe videos we have a nine person family, my daughter and her family live with us, and my adult son also lives with us. 2-3 chicken breast 1 pack taco seasoning 1 jar salsa Add black beans or corn if you like Throw I crockpot on low for 3-4 hr. Then shred and serve. It’s actually pretty good on rice, tacos, or even nachos. It’s just that we make it too often so I’m a little tired of it LOL

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet (I’m sure they have), but just in case.. please don’t lock the lid on your Crockpot when it’s cooking.. that is not what is it meant for. (It’s mean for use when transporting.) It causes a lot of units to explode, ESPECIALLY the PW brand.

I have made the meatball one the same way you made them with rice and broccoli and the tortellini one the same way you made it and my family loved them.... So I just made the Mac & Cheese just waiting on the 10 mins for the top cheese to melt and then we are digging in to it I can’t wait I know we are going to love it.... My Aunt Diane who used to live in Michigan created this meatball recipe over 50 years ago. When I was little and came about having them we ended up naming them Menominee meatballs because that was the town in Michigan where she lived. I have lived around the world and learned that food can pop up in different places at different times when it is created. Someone else may have the same idea but I know them to be Menomonie meatballs that my Aunt Diane created a very very long time ago I wasn't born yet.

I know it might sound weird but for your meatball recipe you can also use grape jelly and make the same sauce and it's really yummy that way too. Like I said I know it sounds weird but if you've never tried it this way you really should I think you'll like it.
