Those radiator support 'horns' on the frame are in amazing shape! When the hex wallows* out, you can buy or make your own 'frame savers' from thick washers and weld them in. 😉

Watching you use the 555 to aid in these jobs is testament enough to know that you are doing things right enough! I remember all the work you did on the 555 and in some miserable weather conditions that I never liked and absolutely couldn't work in now unless it was a matter of survival!

Mike, time to get one of those countdown clocks in the background, you know, similar to the one that is counting down to the end of the world, but on a smaller basis. That way, we know how much time you have left to complete the project. Funny is, we may not be around to see one of those clock hit zero! 😂😂 Coming along nicely. Also, does it make sense to invest in a paint gun versus paying for high priced spray cans? Based on how many you buy, I would be already banned for life or put on a watch list in my area! 😂😂

That rear suspension set up looks really good, better than factory and your right the doors on the 3rd truck are better. Had an idea, you could replace your running lights on the cab roof with a massive led light bar, you'd see everything at night, 👍

my sons first ride was an s10 blazer-we replaced the frame after finding the original frame had a huge crack at the crossmember under the oil pan. We aqquired a frame from the junkyard/ painted it/ basically KLEEMANNED IT then set the blazer body on it and drove it for years. i am not a ford person but i am enjoying the videos on this build- you sir are doing a great job . the memorys will stay with you. thanks for sharing

I restored a 37 Chevy flatbed years ago at work and put the chassis on tall (5') jack stands. Using a small sandblaster it was so easy to do the whole thing including the drivetrain in one day !
