Wow. Those guys sure must be beat at the end of a day or two doing that. Walking on uneven, sloping ballast rock, bent over, for miles. Hats off to the crew of the Ballast renewal train. And to you too for filming this. Mighty long telephoto lens you got there. Love the distortion. You must have been carrying an umbrella too to shed the hail.

all bolted rail should go!?!?!?! LOL. I'm sure if they had the revenue to upgrade the line to welded rail at the cost of around 1/2 t o 1 million dollars a mile they would do it.
