I love all your videos and have watched since the girls were little. You started out Amy diving alone then the two of you together then frugal daddy going out alone. First video I saw was frugal daddy driving trying to beat a garbage truck on the street picking up the good stuff on the street 😂

Here in Australia we don't have plastic straws anymore they are banned like any single use plastic things . I look at it this way any thing you save from the dumpsters small or huge is money you save and less going to landfill ❤❤❤❤

Hi, Frugals. Amy, cedar trees grow all over the U.S. I grew up in the country and my brother used to salvage wood from fallen cedar trees and make wooden spoons from it, as well as wood chips. I would make cedar closet sachets, from the chips, to keep the moths away.

Yes and when I was at camp as a teenager, we would make wet day fires with cedar! Because of the oils in the wood, it doesn't absorb water.

You could re-purpose the straws after use as plant markers if growing from seed. From everything I've read, the alkaline water is quickly changed to match your body's acid/ alkaline base. Dentist will tell you after drinking or eating acidic foods, let your saliva remineralize your teeth before drinking or eating other things that can strip the enamel from your teeth over time. 😁

We use those “ golden cedar branche” up here in the land of Canucks for toothpicks . Right after we suck fluids out of our paper straws😂😂😂 Look at you go , another dive video , wowser. Thought you’d be getting sun tan lotion in the dive . I remember you finding that in copious quantities before . Hope Helen makes shortbread cookies at least .

Lots of people are sticking picks on the tops of their Christmas trees. I can't believe you can still get straws. I hate the paper straws and I really miss our plastic bags. I do recycle everything so never felt bad using them.😊

Atomic Shrimp gave a great tip on pilling dogs. Said to have two treats (ham, cheese, etc), and show the dog both. Make sure the doggo sees both, and have pill concealed in the second. Then give them the first non-pilled treat, and follow with the second. He swears it works. Peanut butter worked for most of my dogs, but not and then one would go off that, and then it was cream cheese until that was suspicious, then ham, then you get desperate and are doing all kinds of things to convince them to take what they are sure is something awful.
