Hi Marilyn and Cheryl I am in the same boat age 63 and full of arthritis. Really enjoy their zeal to save items from landfill. So much stuff which can be definitely repurposed. Love that they donate and offer really reasonable prices on what they sell. Especially all the expensive cookware. Would love to buy some but am in Canada, so can't attend their sales. Loved the floral patterned ceramic crockery, never seen those here. Love that they don't fight and work together so aimably. Wished my body worked better would love to find something nice in a dumpster, which I could donate or give to my grandchildren. Keep up the great work!!!

I love your guy’s videos diving as a couple! Its almost as fun to watch as it is to dive because I get excited for what you’ll find. It’s one of me and my fiancé’s favorite things to do as well. I’m more brave when he’s there. We’ve found Mod Podge at JoAnnes and those little pumpkin planters. I sold the little pumpkins. Though as huge crushers become more customary it both saddens and infuriates us. We love fixing the stuff we find. My fiancé welds and solders so that’s useful. Thanks so much for the videos!

Just wanted to say thank you both so much for encouraging me to try the local apps. I started with OfferUp and had my first sale! I was so excited! My husband and I met the lady yesterday and it was so easy. I have been selling on eBay for years and still do but the local apps are a game changer and takes less than 5 min to list. I did have a few people that seemed interested in my items prior on OfferUp but they never went through with the sale. You are going to have that. But like you mentioned don’t give up. Just keep posting and answering the questions and you will get a following and sales. It takes time but so worth it. Im in Ohio so it’s going to be a little bit harder with the snow days to meet customers but I will plow my way through the snow for the sales lol. Thanks again and enjoy your life. Sending big hugs to Jerry 🐶❤️

Tami Marr you’re SO right!! The local apps are amazing! We’re 99% local sales the last few years now! Changes the way you shop too! Like at estate sales and yard sales you will pick up larger things or heavy or awkward things that aren’t worth it for eBay but will sell locally easy! Love it! ❤️❤️

I was volunteering at place that sells used furniture, hardware, bathroom fixtures... Someone was carrying out a toilet & must have bumped something. The toilet broke & the porcelain made a huge gash up his arm, cutting tendons... He ended off having to have surgery & physio. He was off work s long time & even months later didn't have full use of his hand. The new protocol was to wear sleeves to protect their arms. Can't remember what they were made of.

I clean a building with all these hipsters millennial liberals who are great at talking the talk but they sure as hell don’t walk the walk. This 69 year old woman does talk the talk and walk the walk when it comes to recycling vs trash. I was even amongst the original group of recyclers that collected soda bottles and sold em back to the sores. I thought I knew a lot about recycling until I toured my cities recycling facility, that was a real eye opener. When we took on this contract we agreed to sort the recyclables from the trash and not a day goes past that at least 1/3 the trash and recyclables are in the wrong bin. So get off my back!
