It's sad to see so much stuff like nuts that have a long shelf life past the best by date, being thrown out... And the recycling issue makes me mad!!!

Exactly! Nuts are valuable and last for a while. Sadly due to greed and contamination recycling doesn’t happen as much as it should, the only thing the store recycles is cardboard, which they have to because it wouldn’t work with the dumpsters.

Absolutely shameful that none of that plastic waste is being recycled and, worse still, that the pantry is within sight of the store responsible for throwing away all that food! Surely the management could be a bit more proactive when it comes to donating food to good causes?
