I grew up in central Nebraska and my birthday is in February! Back then,in the 1970's, you could get a , "Learner's Permit" at age 15, which meant you had to have a, "legally licensed'" person over 18 accompany you and seated in the front passenger seat. Driver's Ed wasn't required, but it was strongly suggested. I got my first NE license on my 16th birthday , with , no written test mistakes or any on the road! The drivers back in my day were a lot different than today, "road rage" WAS NOT an issue or even heard of nor were people as hell-bent on pushing others into dangerous situations because they can't control themselves! The comfort glide sheets in the medical dumpster are VERY useful for all sorts of things (throw away tarp or drop cloth). Also, you can put them on pet beds when the pooches are ill. We once used one as a sling to carry a big dog in to the vet office. If you see them again, you might grab a little stack. I bet you would find them useful, too.

What is the reason for dumping medical stuff. I mean the sheets and the sharps container do not go bad. I would buy a case of 3M medical tape . I have to use medical tape every day for the rest of my life so to find some at a discount I would be all over it.

Maybe you could have used a piece from the rack for your metal on the head board so the cab wouldn't get damaged. Here in Northwestern Tennessee we've got 3 to 4 inches of snow on January 14 and 15, 2024. It's beginning to melt today the 16th.. Mike stay safe and healthy. Mike the Transpore tape is great for anything that you would use painters tape. I use it while embroidering quilts. Also the syringes and needles are good for glueing in small spaces. You can put say wood glue in the syringe and squirt it into small cracks then toss the needle in the sharps containers. I would have loved to have the box of tape. Retired OR nurse here. You learn to use items in all kinds of ways.

It got down to -31 degrees here in Nebraska last night….I saw the forecast for Texas was gonna be below freezing and started saying prayers it wouldn’t turn out like it did a few winters back there in Texas…keeping everyone in my prayers that all stay safe and warm and we all get through this cold weather with no major issues! Thank you for the prayers. I'm in central Texas and when I saw how cold it was going to be up north I started praying for everyone. I think that a lot of people are going to be dealing with Frozen water pipes and broken water pipes. I pray that everyone can get their water pipes fixed in a timely manner. Last week here in Iowa it was -19 degrees over night and like -1 degrees for the high during the day. On top of the cold weather we had like 20 inches of snow come through. The we had blowing snow that shout down most of the state for a couple of days. The wife and myself where stuck in the house for three days. Lucky we had lots of food. Hey Mike here in St. Charles IL we had some sub zero temperatures. And some schools were closed because of the cold. The schools didn’t want their students to freeze standing outside waiting for the bus. 🚌 I don’t blame them I wouldn’t want my kids outside in this weather. Keep the kids safe inside. Sharps collectors are good to donate to homeless shelters where they are really needed for diabetics staying there. Needles and medical can be donated to the shelters. You can add cut rubber hoses on top of the wood walls to save them too and help lower the noise when driving.

I use needles, syringes, IV hoses and IV valves all the time, in electronics, soldering, in the bicycle shop to replace hydraulic fluid, or sometimes I fill up syringes with bearing grease, or oil. So that stuff would definitely be worth taking if I was there :) I would also buy that aluminium chair to use it around my weekend house. Would also like to buy that hoverboard extension, too 😊

Yes I’m from Iowa now 51 years in Arizona. Yes Iowa got a good 10” of snow. It was blizzard conditions. Blowing wind snowing white out through the last week. No school No work in most places. Some even passed away from the cold conditions.
