I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. When my son was stationed at Ft. Minot N. D., he asked me to find him one of those manual push mowers. Cause the gas and electric mowers freeze up in winters! Don't remember how I got there, anyway. A lot of his buddies at the military base would borrow it. We thought it was funny. When he left Minot, he left at the base for future use. Hahaha! Thanks Mike, great job! Plus you brought back those memories.

Hey Mike.... ALWAYS let a fridge set for at least 24 hrs after setting it on its side, to let the oil settle back in the compressor or it can damage it.

I picked up a real nice color pencil set in a nice wood case... full... about 2 weeks ago. Took it to my scrap yard and gave it to my guy. Its a family owned yard and all the brothers and sisters run it. It was funny watching all the brothers bum-rush him saying it was theirs. 😂

I got one of those diaper genies when we got 2 puppies at one time and now with a senior boy that wears belly bands they work as well for potty pads and doggy diapers as they do for human ones. Much less smell when cleaning up from the dogs.

That case with the buttons probably held specialized equipment that had to be pressurized. Those buttons let the air out to do that.

you are correct Bermuda grass is better mowed with a "reel type" mower then a rotary mower because bermuda is a runner type grass and he reel mower cuts them off instead of just laying them over like a rotary mower also bermnuda is drought tolerant and likes the heat so would be good choice for Texas

See if the gas burns. If it does, filter it through a coffee filter and pour it in your truck.

I find that hard to believe when it probably sold for $8.99 when new and are easily found at garage/yard sales and flea markets for a dollar or two, add to that, cassettes are notorious for degrading over time with a big loss of fidelity so there isn't many people who collect them and anyone who lived through the cassette era probably have cases already.

Mike, you really shouldn't take stuff like the working elliptical if you're just going to scrap it. That would've saved someone $750 who was going to use it while you get $3-4 in scrap for it

When you move a fridge you have to let it sit for 12 hours before switching it on to make sure the liquid sinks down so you don't get an airlock 👍❤️💛💚

Any item with a compressor and Freon need to sit 12-24 hours after being on its side. I owned a A/C repair company with my ex. If you don't you can burn out the compressor as the freon and oil is not where it needs to be
