Dumpster Diving in Weatherford, TX! We Found a $450 Stroller in Target’s Trash!

Hi y'all and welcome back to the channel! It is always so much fun going to a new place to dumpster dive, and this city definitely paid off! We loved finding several bags of clothing in a random parking lot, and the expensive stroller from Target was a HUGE score.

Wow, all that dog food wasted is just sickening, so many shelters could've used that food. Well, unless it's too expired but it's still so hard to see it!! Great find on the stroller, sell it. Whoo hoo!!

I don’t know if you guys know, but you can take peppers and clean them out, chopped them up and freeze them. They freeze really well for when you wanna make guacamole, salsa, soups then it’s there right for you just food for thought.

When we find loose dog food or partial bags we take it and feed homeless animals. Cats and dogs don’t care if the bag was open or spilled out and picked up for them. Maybe feed some homeless animals they are everywhere. Love the animals ❤

I hope you put the stroller in the cab while you walked around the town. I don’t think I would eat that yogurt but that’s your decision. My stomach wouldn’t take it. I love that you guys rescue stuff. I love that you pass it on inexpensively for others. I think the strollers worth a bit more than five dollars. If you sold it for $50, it would be a bargain and a half for anyone. That money could be used for your gas and fund more diving. It would be worth it to save the things from the planet, and you deserve to be paid for it Even though I know you do it because you love it. You guys are the best. I just love you. Kelly, I watch other dumpster divers across the country, and one lady from Pa., takes her bags she finds, and slips the handles over the dumpsters that has the bar, which frees her hands to put stuff in the bags.

Kelly and Alex.. I became cranky along with you when I saw the dog food slashed and dumped. You are so right that shelters could use this for the fur babies. Take the peppers, chop and freeze, and even the moldy ones you can seed them and plant the seeds in the garden.

Peppers freeze wonderfully! I just wash and cut and throw in a bag...then I can just grab a handful when I want

You can cut the peppers up and freeze them. We do that with all our vegis. Celery, peppers onions...Great for breakfast scrambles. You can cook frozen 😊

What an awesome score on the stroller ..I would post it for at least 200 to 250 and when I find peppers and onions i take them home wash them then cut them up and put them in the freezer and when i cook and need some i just grab me a hand full. it saves me a lot of money..Enjoyed tagging along with ya'll take care and stay safe out there..

I really enjoy your content and understand your perspective on how so many things could be donated to help others. As a former Target employee here is what I can tell you about some of their policies. Any food item human or pet has to be destroyed because of possibly being harmful if ingested and Target will not take that chance Typically if something is in the cooler that expires in a week will be pulled and thrown and in a freezer two weeks will be pulled and thrown. A lot of times this is done because people who pay full price for items want them to last a little while when they get them home Also Target gets reimbursed for certain products that are damaged or out of date from the company’s that they are selling in their store and in getting reimbursed the company forces Target to destroy the product. There are items that get sent back to a warehouse such as electronics or electrical and ect that are then gone thru to make sure they work and then sent to outlet stores. Also there are some items such as some clothing and other items that are donated to local areas. In my town it is called The Boys Ranch where they help children who need items and also sell items in a second hand store. What we are allowed to do with the product is usually based on what the individual company wants done with their product. Hope that helps. Disclaimer I may be incorrect on how current day procedures are done but this was the way it was done when I worked there.

My kids are 28 and 26…it just blows my mind that strollers sell for $450 or more now 😮 as well as other baby items. Most of them are only usable for a very short period of time before they outgrow them 😮

Another good place to dive is in Mansfield! Found some pretty good stuff there. Found my Dyson vacuum in the bed bath and beyond dumpster years ago she still works!

Please, A scoop and a roll of tape should be kept in the truck. You can then scoop up the dog food and tape the bag like other divers do.

I used a decorative chain that I strung from the garage door to the fence and each link held a hanger for the hanging clothes . It works well for the garage sale. I got my chain by the yard at a hardware store. And you can hang more than one chain.

I have free standing frizzer and frieze yoghurt . Even is expired is still good to eat for few weeks. But shops can't sell it 🌞

Oh my gosh. I watched Love in a Dumpster channel and he found a target dumpster full of baby gear and display. That same day, I took a look at my local target in Pittsburgh. There had to be 30 strollers. Unfortunately, I was alone, and the dumpster was 8' high. I never would have saved any buy. I did share the information with as many people as possible. The more dumpster divers l watch, the more I'm convinced this world is doomed. No joke.

sometimes display are not usable. cause they throw a lot of parts to them away. i use to work for baby r us and walmart. still a good find. someone might buy it who has a reborn doll

I take peppers cut them up and freeze them throw on top of a pizza. Just cut them, ziplock and freezer.

Some Mockingbird strollers were recalled due to the lower side of the stroller frame cracking. Lot numbers between18322 and 22278, and lots numbers 23174 and 23175 its says.

I'm sure if the manufacturer of the pet food items say destroy, they do this to get a rebate or reductions on future products. Also could be recalled. So many things are being recalled.
