I’ve never seen videos where the divers try to return things. I have seen videos where the ‘divers’ will sabotage things in the store so they can get the stuff from the dumpster. I’ve been diving for nearly 5 years. Started out by curiosity, became a necessity for a while, now it’s just what I do!

Great finds. Expiration does not mean “not good”. Our land fills are being filled with stuff that our earth can’t decompose ( like plastic bags)check out Indonesia plastic land fill.

Excellent finds today. With pet food, its the head office that tells the stores that they half to write the product off, then throw it in the trash, whereas where I live all pet products that are written off, are donated . Have a great day my friends ❤️🙂⚘️.

We love finding the pet food. We are able to donate and also feed the local kitties. We just found another Momma cat and her kittens on our property. So finding all of this is a huge help!

People don't donate because of liability. They don't want to be liable if somebody gets sick off of the donation. But that's dumpster.Divers can do the job for them LO.L God bless u honey

Hi there, I just found your channel, I went yesterday for the first time, I was very nervous and scared, what happens if someone from the store comes out and sees us taking things from the dumpster? Is it illegal?

Hello, welcome. We were nervous when we first started and then nervous again when we started recording for KZbin. It adds another level of worries. We prefer to go during the day because the worst is getting caught by employees or security. Where we live dumpster diving is not illegal but they might just tell you to leave if they say it is trespassing. We have never had any major issues with any employees. When we went at night we had issues with some local homeless people throwing stuff at us. If we get caught we just let them know we are getting some recyclables and will leave. There are many times employees see my husband at the dumpsters and they just keep walking by 99% they never say anything. Only a handful of times they have said we have to go and they are always polite about it that's why we prefer going during the day. I will talk about this in our next video. Take care and stay safe.

The shelters in our area will not take expired dog food, it's sad. Thay are begging for food but will not take it. My critters eat well.

I hate that they do that over here also. That's why we usually donate locally instead to people who need it. We will occasionally find some within the date and not cut up. They will take those.

They cannot donate food if it's out of date to the animal shelters and possibly because they'll get a bigger write off if they throw it away
