He gets frantic. He starts to miss other things because he becomes focused on one thing. Like all the brass dishes in the last dumpster. Meanwhile, he's stomping on antique glassware worth as much or possibly more than the brass. Also, the dark brown pottery pieces may have been worth a bunch, but I never got a good look at it. Some makes are worth a lot of money. It looked like a whole set was there, some damaged. But right maker and one good piece could have been equal to the whole dumpster.

@@Vault57 Let's be real here. That stuff was thrown in the dumpster without care. Most of those plates got broken or chipped before Mike even got there. I understand where you're coming from but selling an incomplete and/or chipped set is very difficult even if it's antique.

Not necessarily, because if you go to some sites just for collecting a certain thing, you can find collectors trying to find pieces to finish their sets. And that my friend is where you can really make some serious money. Around 4-5 ×'s the money than selling a complete set.

Most of the curbside scavengers around here never pickup anything they have to work to strip out the salvageable components. So seeing the work and effort Mike puts in is admirable 😊🎉 also our scavengers here in sw Wisconsin never pick up after themselves like Mike
