Dumpster Diving This is so wrong! They don't belong in the trash!

I got a couple nice dining chairs from a dumpster 10 years ago; I still use them today. Sturdy, well built chairs with nothing wrong with them.

A guy on here called Scrap & Pallet Man watch him sometimes collects metal, saw him putting beautiful chairs half metal and solid wood into his truck to be scraped nothing wrong with them. He dumped them all in the scrap unbelievable what people throw away such waste. They might as well throw away money

[I'd loved to had those chairs & many others too I'm sure!] You guys do such a GREAT job saving perfectly GOOD stuff!!! 👍🥰 It's PATHETIC tht PPL & COMPANIES throw so much new stuff away- tht MANY ppl could BENEFIT from! IMO, That is SO CRIMINAL! They SHOULD be ARRESTED for filling our [already] OVERLOADED landfills w/such GOOD stuff....I hope someone sees the need [someday] to bring a HUGE case against ALL of THEM! You would definitely WIN!!!!!! I'm sure w/all your EVIDENCE [& OTHERS], the Judge would be disgusted w/ the WASTE of NEW merchandise & perfectly GOOD FOOD tht they PURPOSELY DESTROY to keep ppl from having it! Unbelievable! I' m writing a comment for the first time, here. As a person living in a European country, I got extremely surprised by the way things are thrown away in the USA. It's a big " insault" towards poverty all over the world. Could someone explain me why this happens? Why aren't these fabulous items donated, or even sold in very low prices? Congratulations to all these good people who don't hesitate to dive into dumpsters and save all these things and give them a second chance ( and maybe third, fourth...) 💖💖💖💖

Well here in the USA if a big corporation was to give you something instead of being smart and throwing it out first , you bring home that chair that a worker owner anyone employed to that company gave too you and someone in your family gets hurt from it for some freak reason they will Sue you . Happens all the time trash it than they can take it out of the dumpster at a later date

We used to go to those marble, granite, etc places and get unlimited amts of pieces. Can be used for stepping stones, patios etc. They were glad to have ppl haul them away bc it was expensive for them to pay for disposal.

You had cushions for four chairs, so one was probably destroyed and they just tossed the other three from a set of four. They may have originally kept the three while they figured out what they wanted to do, which would explain why the fourth chair wasn't in that dumpster; it was tossed previously.

In order to disinfect the cushions us "ammonia". it has the power of bleach, but will not remove the coloring. I had to use it due to my cat peeing on my couch for 5 days while I was in the hospital. I took it outside and poured a total of 2 gallons on the cushion he peed on and the entire couch to clean it. I let it soak in the sun for a day, then rinsed it off and put fabric softner on it for a day. then rinsed that off. I had a brand new couch.

Totally make a doggie bed out of the extra cushions! Your buddy may love it! I don't get these retail stores that don't just donate this sort of stuff and choose to just throw it away. I once worked for a big red box store that used to donate things like this to the women's shelter, Habitat for Humanity and other organizations in the area. I heard that a few years ago from an old coworker that they just stopped doing that and trashed stuff instead. Locked dumpsters, unfortunately. 😕

You can use Avon skin so soft bath oil to take the paint out of thing then use decreased to clean oil out.
