You find the most interesting toys! 😁 That trick with the 100 ohm resistor is pretty neat. I like all the stuff I've seen here, so if you want to do more modern systems, too, by all means have at it. I learn stuff every time I tune in here, and that's why I keep coming back.

Thanks for watching, nice of you to leave a comment. I think there will be some modern stuff, but as I am not into gaming the range of interesting stuff is limited. But I do have som trach picked stuff I can show...

@@kojroRI Cool! I'll be looking forward to all your stuff.

Nice mod music. I had it in the software bundle of my pro audio studio in the 90s. I used a software named trackblaster.

That is most likely a card reader or a way to take payments from someone's iPhone.

Yes, but here there was no electronics inside, so they might have that on other versions.

Anything interesting on that SSD ?

Now that is a question with a topic that I haven't even thought about yet. I will find out, and I will try to make a more permanent fix. I have caught up about some more in dept knowledge about this, and a clamp up or down solution is not the best option. A voltage divider with two resistors is a better option, and some has also suggested to put a buffer on the output of the CPU. I will have to see, now it will start up about every third time only, so not as good as I thought it was yesterday, yesterday it started every time. So the degradation of the CPU has gone faster than I have seen reported other places.

Who else is screaming at heir monitor for him to put the memory stick back in?
@kojroRI Жыл бұрын
Sorry I did nor hear you ;-) I can't now remember if I at some time forgot to mount it back in, or if I left it out just so it would beep at me. I often did do this if the CPU don't start when I did fault finding back in the day on PC's with descrete components.. There always was diffenrent beeping for memory, and for graphics card.. I always keep a small speaker at hand when I do work with old X86 computers.

I thought you meant something else by "POS"

I did develop and sell Point of Sale systems back in the day, so for me this has always been the 3 letter name for it..

@@kojroRI I won't say bad words in the comments, but I've used the acronym "POS" to describe my truck when it breaks down, so that's a hint.
