Andrew loaded your 30 yarders pretty good. No voids and nothing was jammed sideways in the bin to jam up the load. A 30 yard bin is an odd ball size for us. Back in my bin days it would have been 40 yarders or the 50s o😮n a job like that. The bin jumping the rails would be a little more common for you guys your bins slide on rollers. The rails on the trucks we have here, bins slide on strips of Hardox welded to the top of the rails. The one draw back is if you have a real heavy bin it can be a bitch to pull on. Ive had 50 yarders with 15 tons of garbage jump the rails. Usually when I was in a hurry. There is only one company in the area that uses conventional rails. The other bin companies went to hooklifts. Easier to train drivers using hooklifts.

My international has that style rails, inside outside rails. It shakes the truck bringing a heavy load up. I don’t like that style but it works.

you can always repair trucks after hours , but once the transfer station closes for the day , you get back logged with full containers, and if not replaced it even preventing the contractor ,ie Andrew ,im sure he not your only customer from keep going and completing their job for their client, so having a spare truck to keep your clients job going smooth is where you will get repeat calls , from hoses or flat tires, not a major repair , but its still a 1-3 hr down time , and it happens often enough in your line of work, that old spare truck is what makes you dependable , and it more then pays for it cost of operation , tax, mvi insurance ect, and if you have a major issue with your main unit, then it no panic mode trying to find replace parts or the whole unit , it buys you time , and time is money , its not like you can go out and rent a replacement unit, like a dump truck or dry van , semi tractor , dumpster trucks are unique in the trucking industry,, keep doing like your doing and you'll be a success .🥸🤓

I worked for a major trash company for several years…when a hose blew on the tarpers and it had to keep going…we sometimes would do a quick fix with field service hose ends…cut the bad spot…install the manual hose ends on each end and connect together for a temporary fix until the trucks day was done and replace the hose…we had 10 rolloffs and no spares in peak season…usually we’d complete the job in under 10 minutes
