My gf nearly cried watching the first part of this dive 😢, she is an avid reader of books (maybe 5 or 6 a month) and she was amazed at the amount of books they were throwing away. Here in Spain some places donate them, some stores even do bookswaps and others have a basket outside so people can take a free copy. Great video! Keep it up!

It never fails to sadden me the amount of good things that are thrown out. Some kids don’t own a book, surely they could have been given away.

It’s criminal binning all these books. My grandson loves horrid Henry and his school would be so appreciative. You took the words right out of my mouth saying they could be donated to schools. I’ve watched all your videos but it’s the throwing out of the books that angers me the most

All those wasted books absolutely kills me. I try to find and save as many as I can and I’m hoping to build my company more so I can take in more wasted books as there’s no reason to waste them. 😔

Yes too many books are just thrown out I donate mine to a charity shop who pass them on to another of their shops but they don't have many to pass on as they sell a lot of them.

With Christmas coming up u should of grabbed alot of k8ds books it mightbe the only thing some children get for a gift teachers could of wrapped up n gave a book to each student for Christmas also

Check the expiry dates on items in the first aid kits before you pass them on. Some items have a short shelf life compared to others

Oh how criminal just binning those books surely kids books could be given to schools or food banks as they get donated toys for Christmas even adult books could be donated hospitals or even the food banks for them to give a present to parents at Christmas the choice endless charity shops even the shop who threw them away could put them altogether and a sign on the shelves saying money going to charity or the food banks

they get sent to a paper mill and are shredded into pulp and then reused so yes they will the repurposed but what is wrong with the books in the first place surley they could donate the books first or even sell then at a reduced price rather than destroying perfectly good items
