There are always so many gorgeous bananas in these videos - flown in all the way from somewhere like Ecuador only to end up rotting in a bin. Totally, totally irresponsible and disrespectful! Ripe bananas can be frozen and made into smoothies and healthy non-dairy ice-cream or baked in cakes and banana bread.

Mark I've started doing this myself and my partner we are very surprised at what we find in our local retail park it's crazy we was very lucky the other night when we went to one bin I couldn't believe the amount of sweets chocolate cakes and bread we found all in date too so we shared our haul with our neighbours thank you for doing theses videos because I now have the bug myself and seeing what I can save from landfill

I'm gussing the M &S store put the loaves of bread on top of all the stuff so people can take it. That way it doesn't get wet, or smashed. Pity not to take any.
