Dunai árvíz - Dömös, 2024-09-20 (4K)

A videón a levegőből látni, meddig jött ki a víz, ahogy az is pontosan látszik, hogy a régiek okosak voltak.... Dömös ófalu, minden régi épület az árvíz-határ felett volt. Régen nem homokzsákoltak...egyszerűen nem épített ártérre.

Nemrégen voltunk ott. Imádom a Dunakanyart. Dédanyámék Dömösön laktak, mi is majdnem. Mindenkinek minden jót kívánok. Puszi. Ölelés.

I wonder what impact the flood has on the birds in that area. It would be nice with some information about it.

As all over it helps the birds. The nesting season iswas over when flood came, and birds were starving on concrete dry lands finding near zeró insects, wild flower seeds, and so on. Now the 5 day long rain re-booted all grassland and woods, plus the flood mad great feeding places for herons, still on migration black storks. Also smaller sized birds of prey now can eat a lot on evacuating field mices, etc. Normally 2 foolds in a year would be essential for ecosystem surrounding rivers. One in early spring and one in summertime. Now both failed, the early spring flood was in january (snow melted earlier in Alps). the sommer flod arrived also earlier but too stond in may in the middle of nesting season thx to abnormal quantity of rain in May. (later from mid June until end of August not a drop rain ) . This rain and flood was a relief after the (too much) dry season. Naturally everything has it's dark side >> swallows and martins faced a disaster facin cyclon Boris.

Beautiful video and breathtaking landscapes... it's just a shame that it's a reportage of a flood that has caused damage and inconvenience.... The ground is occupied in every inch, and it no longer matters to evaluate whether a place is potentially dangerous... arrogance of the human race that, on disasters, cries "crocodile tears" and announces "we will learn, it will not happen again", but then, due to forgetfulness or stupid short-sighted interest, forgets everything and will again suffer damage and ruins...
