I've just come back into the hobby after a decade and looked at the dire state of my old 'crons. Of the many tutorials out there, this is the first one I've seen that doesn't make me feel like quality results are unobtainable! Every other vid out there seems to be a mixture of airbrushing, slapping on some contrast paints, and boom - here's the finished model. I really appreciate the focus on technique, efficiency, and brush usage.

For the dark green cables. I recommend caliban green, then tesseract glow. You get almost the same exact effect here, but much quicker.
@LinkiePup2 жыл бұрын
I found Tesseract glow works better when its spots where the “glow” is more easily believable. So like the orbs on the Cryptech, the orbs in the Gauss weapons, and as a base for Necron Blades.

Just watched this, and I loved it, I assume this is a similar colour scheme to paint Trazyn? However when it comes to the green glow I prefer to use Corax White (I hate this paint but its all I've got at the mo) and Tesseract glow. As bases go, firstly, haw did you get the crystals, and my favourite method for bases is lately: Corax White + Tesseract glow + Mordant Earth. (The same and still eerie effect can be achieved using Blood for the Blood God in place of the Tesseract glow.)
