So, let me see if I heard this correctly. You do not mind the folk of Lochee and Charleston to have to put up with football fans just because the proposed stadium cannot handle even a basic 5,000 crowd? Dundee council has implemented parking restriction around the current grounds so how many folk will have to go through the process to get permits and all the hassle that entails and the additional bureaucracy from the local authority? The site is not suitable for this kind of venue and the road network certainly was never designed for it. The whole area from the Lochee bypass up to the Kingsway is congested regularly. I am not against Dundee getting a new stadium, it great they have the new training pitches but it should not affect the quality of life for local residents.
