Thanks for the video. I’m thinking of using one on my trailer.

We are using it full time around oz now. Ill put up more information as we go. So far it’s great. The legs do need to be down for the best support with anything heavy. For a quick lunch table the legs are not needed

Been debating on this dune camp kitchen or the xtm one but I think this has won me over to put in the back of my Subaru Forester Great video thanks for showing it off I really want one now

I reckon they are identical. I have been on the road now for 3 weeks and love it, so quick and it’s steady enough.

Glad it was helpful! We are 3 months into our oz trip and it’s been fantastic. We had a sand storm on a beach and the pull out channels filled with sand, but after a clean it’s great again. 🤙🏻

Thanks Luke. Great video very well explained. I’m thinking of using the Dune in my tunnel boot. If you don’t mind me asking, Your nearing on 1 year since you installed it, how has it held up. Thanks Tony

Well done Luke. Were you able to store the Ziggy on the Dune?
@hitchupadventures4302 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not. It missed by 5cm, if you have a bigger hatch it would have worked or if you have a single draw pull out. But I found a single draw pull out still kept the bbq to close to the caravan than I liked

Hi Luke. I like to know if the sections lock as I had a look at the xtm and it won’t really lock properly a little pressure or bump and it sends these tío s back in without using the levers Thanks Gabriel
@hitchupadventures4302 Жыл бұрын
The sections lock out fully and won’t go in unless you use the locks, the middle tray will lock at a half way point.

G'day Luke, thanks for the video. can you please confirm if each of the slides will lock out when fully extended. I haven't seen the Dune only the XTM, and it only seems to lock halfway which doesn't seem ideal if the table is accidentally knocked. Thanks.
@hitchupadventures4302 Жыл бұрын
I have found the table locks at half way and full way out on the middle table. The furthest table is all they about locking. I have had no issue with it moving in. It’s been great. We are travelling oz currently and is getting a work out. So far the best add on at a good $ to the van

Hi Luke, i have a tunnel booth opening of 680mm wide x 430mm high, would i fit both the slide out and the nomad in there without having to find a seperate storage area for the nomad. Cheers ?
@hitchupadventures4302 Жыл бұрын
It would be close, I measure it at 43cm to fit, so if you have a lip inside the tunnel boot that sinks the slide out down it may just make it. This is if you have the bbq in the top tray. You can remove the top slide tray and it would fit easily.

Hi Luke, thanks for posting the video I found it really informative. If you did remove the top slide and sat the Ziggy Nomad on the second slide as you mention above, would you be able to tell me what would the total height of the assembly come down to? The tunnel boot height I have is 385mm, and I have struggled to find the height between the top and second shelf online.

We just got back from around oz forn7 months. It copped a full dust and sand storm, all the rails got gritty. But a quick clean up and all good. It did on the gibb river road have 1 rails bolts come loose, but a quick tighten and good a new. We still use it and love it. We bbq on it for 200 days in a row. Over a few bumps the legs can down when packed away, but we used a bbq scraper to lift them and then it slid out as normal
