I've edited together a supercut of all my episode breakdowns for Dune Prophecy Season 1. I've also altered a few parts to make for a more complete breakdown. I hope you guys enjoy and let me know what you thought of the first season of the show. Also, I will be posting a video on Season 2 theories soon, so look out for that.

The ending of season one was foreshadowed several times. First, Desmund was not afraid of, or surprised by, or even nervous around the thinking machine in episode one. Instead, Desmund stabs the lizard quite easily.... but curiously he does not destroy it. Later, Desmund gives a blue ball of "forbidden technology" to the Baron Harkonen... even though he has preached against that technology numerous times. Finally, Desmund was clearly manipulating/controlling the emperor even though he just magically appeared out of nowhere. Desmund complained that the sisters were controlling the emperor, but he was doing the same thing himself, and exactly what the empress was trying to do unsuccessfully. The irony is rich. Finally, it appears that Valya's nephew has been plotting to backstab her for quite some time. It is not beyond logic that the Baron Harkonen has been working with Desmund for some time... and he could be the figure that Desmund saw while the thinking machines operated on him. The only other human ruthless enough to do such a thing to another human would be the Bene Tleilax (assuming that the figure that Desmund saw watching the eye operation is indeed human). Who else could it be? None of the other human characters we have been introduced to so far in the TV series makes sense. Something must happen to the blue bauble that recorded secret conversations of Valya in the Baron's city home, because if that information gets out... then the Sisterhood is toast, end of story. This is further complicated by the apparent murder of the emperor by a Sister (according to the emperor's wife's lies). The murder of the young acolyte sisters must be kept secret because if that information gets out... then the Sisterhood is toast, end of story. This series keeps us in suspense!

I agree on the suspicions of a lot of what youve raised here. I'm actually posting a video on theories for season 2 in the next few days and in that video I talk about who I think the hidden enemy is. Like you, the Bene Tleilax is one of my two main predictions along with the omnius/Erasmus theory. Gonna be exciting to see what direction they take it all in.

Should’ve been a movie but I understand them being afraid to put out a movie that will be nowhere near the quality of Denis Villeneuve movies. It’d wierd cuz they expect you to have read the books to understand so much of the plot yet there is so much unnecessary stuff in the show where they could have used to explain the history of the universe more. The highlight of the season for me was valia and her bene’s plan with in plans moments which I thought showcased the order well. Although I am worried they are showing the bene as too diverse (in opinion) where they are supposed to be single minded and extremely loyal. Which is what makes Jessica going rouge and having Paul so consequential. Too many bene are rebelling against the establishment which they are supposed to basically think all as one I do think the show got better as it went on but I also think it would’ve been way better as a binge series
