I love how confused Dae was about his water disappearing when he was building up all his settlements. Both draining water and cancelling the councillor bonus since the slots weren't empty anymore.

gg! interesting looking at this from your perspective, was corrino. felt like i couldn't make a single right move the whole game, anytime i did anything a fremen stealth stack shows up to detrimental effect.

Sup Old man... I think that base drop was poorly thought. You got out of the game having to stay close to defend from base dives. The Atreides base dive mistake was fun to watch lol!

@@apoleonschneider perhaps, the issue i had was that i was in very cramped quarters between the deep desert and ecaz, so either start a full on war with him over lands and leave the whole north to daevokh, or drop. As for that exact dropsite, the regions further south were either specials or spice fields. Mistakes were definitely made, but im not sure the drop was actually one of them.

Seeing it from Dae's perspective, every time you had your army near your north base it made him want to have his army there too. By defending it so hard you seemed to actually attract more attention to it -- I think he'd have spent much more time harassing Atreides otherwise.

@@atypicaloddity well, the idea was to contest the two northern specials, and given my other options for drop locations (or lack thereof) it was a necessary evil. Lots of mistakes were made, but im not sure the drop was one of them.

That might be one of the most clown played lobbies ever. The total over reaction to a deep desert cap and sequential ignoring of atreides was just like....i dont even know how to describe it.

I kinda think that it would've been a better game plan to let Corrino get the volcano and contest Atreides for the special regions in mid. Killing Atreides giving you equally as many special regions and also a second dessert. Corr dropped his base between 2 special regions so it's pretty clear he just wanted to sit back.

I'm not totally down on my plan. We were very close to getting that Corrino base and clearing out the entire north for Fremen occupation. We really just need Ecaz to be able to contest some of that southern Atreides territory, since the green was just able to expand like crazy and no one took anything from him.

I don't think it's ever worth voting for Laandsraad examination. It's -20 rather than -30, and it doubles laandsraad gains, which includes the "dear to the minor houses" 10 standing. So it's neutral at best but most likely you pay to give everyone an extra 5-10 laandsraad

I feel like with all this water but no sietch visibilty from advisors, that the reveal a sietch anomalies would've been extremely useful to prioritise picking up in the early-mid game.

I don't see you on the Ixians, I would really like a guide, because so far they seem to be the weakest in the war, even at the end of the game, yes, a cool economy, influence, a lot of intelligence, but the troops are tearing to pieces.

No luck there. The devs at Shiro have been tight lipped about any future plans. First DLC and heroes of dune patch were about 6 months out from launch, and we're almost 3 months out from that. I would love to see a big patch to shake things up, but no notion on when it could be.

Im not crazy and the reason you went negative on water is because of the counselor right? You built out your villages and lost all water production due to not having empty slots to generate water.

Yeah I think the Fremen are actually pretty bad at winning the game--but they're fun to play!

i don’t understand why you never rallied the allies sietches to help in your attacks or defenses? I saw an episode where Turin had them help occupy territory as well.

That tech got nerfed down a bit so is no longer as strong. I didn't pick it up till quite late here. Then it only kicks in when you're liberating and I didn't find a lot of opportunity for it here
